    Deck Shield Pro is a clear water-based penetrating decking treatment. Its application will not affect the colour or appearance of the timber. Deck Shield Pro is recommended for new timber where no change of appearance is preferred but protection of the new wood is required. Its special formula works in different ways to protect and reduce slip without the use of aggregates or abrasives. Water is repelled from the surface so the timber is dryer for longer periods, this reduces the growth of spores and algae. This treatment is ideal for waterproofing and protecting new timber. Deck Shield pro contains no UV filters and allows new timber to darken in the sun while offering water repellence. It's ideal for the first 6-12 months of a new decks life prior to the application of a penetrating timber oil in year 2 onwards.
